Bank attempts to stick it to the Agent.btz Malware

December is shaping up as a battle between the Conficker worm and the Agent.btz malware, and which one can generate better headlines. The Economist, quoting an expert on the recent Agent.btz malware, revealed a unique way one company is fighting back.

“…at least one bank has dealt with agent.btz by blocking all its computers’ USB ports with glue.”

They are going to need a lot of glue, since Agent.btz can spread using local shares on the network.
